On our pilgrimage we stopped by and had a bite to eat. We got cod fritters (bigger than we expected), a sandwich with eggs and bacon & a meal of salad, fries, steak and egg. All of it was good, not the best food we have ever eaten but enjoyable. The waitress seemed to be working the front on her own and there were quite a few customers so it did take awhile to get served, however; she was very polite and did her best. Overall a good experience!

I had a really tasty Bacalhau salad and fried snack. The owners are tooooo friendly. Since I did not have enough cash on hand with me and paying by card was not possible, they told me I do not have to pay the full amount - of corse I did not like to do that but then Paula offered me to go with me to the nearby ATM. It did not have cash that's why it did not work beforehand, so she instantly insisted on driving me to another ATM that was quite far away (she did not want me to walk alone at night and was happy too help). Too lovely persons, felt like home on my first day on the Camino Portugues!! Will go there again for breakfast. I would % recommend to go there. In short; tasty food, good location (next to the albergue, with terrasse) & friendly (English-speaking) staff! PS. They even had besides the English menu with pictures a German menu.
